About
Samantha Baker is a New York-based actor originally from South Florida. She was one of only four students to receive a full talent-based scholarship to the prestigious American Heritage School of the Performing Arts, where she studied as a Musical Theatre student. During her time there, she performed in numerous productions and discovered her deep passion for the transformative power of storytelling.
A recent graduate of the renowned two-year conservatory program at The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute in New York, Samantha has dedicated countless hours to refining her craft through intensive Method training. Prior to that, she attended The New School on another talent-based scholarship, where she continued to expand her artistic foundation. She also had the privilege of training under the esteemed faculty of Carnegie Mellon University as part of their acclaimed summer program.
When she isn’t immersed in theatre, Samantha brings her creativity, organization, and communication skills to a variety of professional environments. She has served as an Executive Secretary at Wells Fargo Financial Advisors, an Administrative Assistant at a medical spa, and a Crew Member and Social Media Manager at Trader Joe’s. Samantha also spent several years volunteering at her local children’s theatre, where she supported young performers and continued fostering a love for storytelling in her community.
She continues to immerse herself in new projects and performances, constantly seeking opportunities to grow as an artist and storyteller. Most recently, she starred in an independent feature film that is slated to be released on streaming in 2026. When she isn’t performing, Samantha can be found with her dog, Beanie, whom she lovingly refers to as her only son.
